I forgot my driver’s license. Can I still pick up the vehicle and drive it?

No, a valid driver’s license (valid old or new driver’s license, international driver’s license with certified translation) is required to rent a vehicle and must be presented when picked up by the main renter. Providing a copy of your driver’s license is not sufficient. If it is possible for someone else to present the original forgotten driving license at a Europcar station or police station at the time of rental, the rental can still be carried out. Confirmation is then required in both cases. 

Renting a vehicle abroad may require an international driving license or a certified translation (for more detailed information, please refer to the  rental conditions of the respective country ).
